Rooted to Earth, soiled from mother’s nature
To the sun and beyond, cleansed from above
Large as life, leaves fall in the winds mixture.
Tough brawn bark, insides rugged with rings of love.
Chopped by the palms of the man. Fallen down
From the blue clear skies. What has fallen now cries!
Like royalty, a tree too wears its crown.
As rings on the free stump spiral clockwise.

Shades of green leaves are blown in the cool breeze
People pass through the green setting and gaze
Ticking slows down. Moment in time will freeze.
In the future, lofty a tree will raise.

The rings on that tree is the record of life
Abundance, rebirth, the mark it has left.
